Get ready, Nelson! The powerhouse that is the All Girl Big Band will be steamrolling from Christchurch into town this October with their high-voltage big band swing, a much-anticipated comeback since their last impressive performance at the 2019 Nelson Jazz Festival.

Eighteen wildly talented women, whose infectious joy of music making is evident at all their live shows, are ready to electrify with their blazing renditions of rambunctious swing tunes and popular hits.

Since their debut in 2016 at the Court Theatre (Christchurch), the band has sold out shows across Nelson, Palmerston North, Dunedin and Christchurch, with repeat appearances at Christchurch Big Band Festival and The Port of Tauranga 61st National Jazz Festival. They perform regularly in Christchurch and tour nationally, with collaborations onstage with NZ icons like Bic Runga and Delaney Davidson.
